The find box
The Find box is a powerful tool in Microsoft Word that can help you quickly locate and replace text in a document. The Find box is located in the Editing group on the Home tab.
To use the Find box, type the text you want to find in the Find what text box, and then click the Find Next button. Word will search the document for the text you entered and highlight it in the document. If the text you are looking for is not found, Word will display the message, "There is no text that matches your search.".
If you want to replace the text you found, type the text you want to replace it with in the Replace with text box, and then click the Replace button. Word will replace the text you found with the text you entered.
You can also use the Find box to find and replace text with wildcard characters. To do this, type an asterisk (*) in the Find what text box, and then click the Find Next button. Word will search the document for text that matches the asterisk.
You can also use the Find box to find and replace text with specific formatting. To do this, type the formatting you want to find in the Find what text box, and then click the Find Next button. Word will search the document for text that matches the formatting you entered.
